Here are some outtakes from our little homestyle photoshoot today. I told Danielle that I can’t use the goofy ones, but she kept making me laugh.
She took these while holding Miko in her puppy sweatshirt pocket because Miko is so sick again (severe pancreatitis & GI bleeding, and whatever else the pending test results reveal).
I admire the way Miko finds little ways to ask for comfort. Yesterday she got Elsa’s coat and brought it to me, nosing and pawing me, sitting up tall for me to put it on her. She wore it all evening. As I was typing this, and she was sleeping next to me, she got up and pawed the laptop away, nestling herself in its place on my crossed legs.
I always feel like I am learning from her — how to get cozy, how to assume strangers are friends, how to stay close to the ones who love you and let them know you need some care.
I am glad to be able to be with her through this, as hard as it is to see her suffering.
🐾 🐾 Genuinely no pressure (we’re okay and miko will be too🤞🏼) but as all the vet care is really adding up (3 hospital visits so far), I made a code to hopefully trade some art for the Miko fund. If you put in “miko” at check out it will take $10 off any order of $35+ 🐾 🐾
More outtakes - wow these prints are big
Almost all the pics we took are outtakes because the prints are too big and gorgeous to hold still and level and serious. I thought the photos might look professional, but instead they just look very happy. That’s okay too.
Hope something serious in your life turns out to be just really happy, too.
love,
Brit
