There is a lot of heartbreaking shit happening for trans kids, but there is also this.
And also: I want to make the kinds of things I needed when I was young. Listening in to what would have been supportive creates so much space, and then relief as I explore ways to offer it now, belated and full of love. And, we can put those gifts out into the world, and perhaps wonderful people will help them get to people they are for, to people who are young now, and then in small ways the heavy burdens of growing up become more possible. It helps to remember this.
