Today is the last day for winter stickers, pins and notebooks

We are encased in an ice storm right now, so we’re home eating chocolate hazelnut cookies and putting cute sweaters on our dogs.
Danielle has also been keeping an eye on the non-migratory hummingbirds that live in our neighborhood — yesterday morning she used warm water to unfreeze one of their tiny feet from the metal perch of our feeder, and she’s been defrosting their nectar carafes by the fire whenever they freeze.
Miko’s been hard at work figuring out icy snow: she’s not heavy enough to leave footprints, but she did figure out that she can pounce and punch her paws through the crunchy surface to start digging it up. This is, of course, in between warm-up breaks on the closest lap.
And Elsa has decided to sleep this storm out in her favorite place in the world. She hopes we keep the tree up forever.
I hope your storms, whatever they may be, somehow come with warm fires and a nook to rest in, too.
with love,
brit
Just in case you haven’t heard: today is the last day for stickers, pins and notebooks!
We only have them up in the main shop for one or two brief “sticker day” events during the year, and then for a month or so around the holidays. After today there will just be a small selection in the patron shop until our next drop in the summer ☀️😎
Under the tree, preferably on the upstairs landing (for the view), is Abby's (my cat) favorite place, too. Unfortunately my husband won't let me keep the tree up, or I would.
