I probably can’t fix it
I have spent a lot of time frozen, thinking things are too complicated and too unlikely to help. And it’s true — that sense that I probably can’t fix it. But fixing things isn’t what makes an effort worth it.
Our attention, our presence, our willingness to listen and see the possibilities: these are movements of love that make a difference, even against immovable griefs.
We must decide who we are and act with hope.
