Hi everyone,
It feels like the information I want to share here is really incongruent with this week I’ve had of deep grief (a bit on this below, CN: death). It feels strange that life and things can go on even in times like this. Yesterday we became 50k on IG and it was something I’d been planning to celebrate, though I had thought it would be much farther off. My grief brought out feelings of disconnection and apathy, like what does this matter in a time like this. But it’s also brought up a powerful desire to connect as real people, and to tell the ones in my life how much I appreciate them. And you, my community of art loving friends, have changed my life in the best way and I want you to know that I do not take your presence in my life for granted. I know we are strangers but I feel that we are also friends, and I want to thank you for the ways your support and encouragement has affected me.
So here’s the main news, and then there’s some art below:
In gratitude for 50k, I created the code 50KARTDAY which will take 50% off one print, now through Sunday 10/31. I hope it makes my art more accessible to everyone who has connected with it and you’re able to bring home a piece that means something to you.
It’s the end of the month, and the last chance to join/upgrade Patreon for this month’s art, which are only available through Patreon for now.
Here’s the print (available for 4x6 and 8x10 tiers):
And here’s this month’s sticker. Starting last month I created print+stickers tiers. If you’re already on a print tier you can upgrade to get the sticker.

GRIEF, ONE MOMENT TO THE NEXT, OCT 2021
(cn: death) I’m going slowly now. A young, brilliant family/friend died unexpectedly this weekend and nothing makes sense.
We miss you, and we will forever.
MY WORLD, OCT 2021
I do not take a single one of you for granted.
Thank you for welcoming my art into you life.
Britchida I am so sorry for your loss. Please be extra gentle with yourself during these intense times. I also feel like we are friends. Your art, words, and stories have brought me joy and real comfort. Like a real friend would. Thank you. I appreciate you so much. Blessings.
