Hi friends,
This week we’re doing the Year End Print Party sale, with a new set of prints on sale each day. Yesterday though did not see new prints because I got too busy and decided to just not do it. Making that kind of decision is a new thing for me. I kept thinking about it, so I made these following illustrated notes to self on my lunch break. Thought I’d share them in case you too would like to shirk some “responsibility” where there’s really nothing at stake.
Today though, I did update the sale, so check out today’s *one day only* sale prints here. And, tomorrow is that last recommended day to ship for a Christmas delivery in the US, so if you’ve been thinking about orders, now is the the time!

When you’re tired, consider resting instead of ramping up.
Since resting is not actually the actionable step, we have to start by removing things from the to-do list or plan is the first step. Then there is space.
Often we actually need space more than rest. To play or to just putt around or whatever. To do something fun. To not be supposed-to-be-doing-something.
We may not know what we need until we have enough time to try multiple options
So we’re talking about quite a bit of space.
If we take space without actually saying no to the things we were going to do we overload “tomorrow”
Space doesn’t feel like space if it’s in the shadow of tomorrowwwww
the solution to the shadow often is not to ramp up and just get it all done. It is to change plans.
Yes yes yes - the SPACE to just be.
This is such a gift!! Thank you!
