Hi! I want to let you know that today is the last day for stickers. I had hoped to pre-write this email before I went to visit my sister for the weekend, but instead it’s coming to you live and last minute from my back porch now that I’m home.
I’ve been in southern California doing social & cultural things the past few days, and remembering how many people there are in the world and how close they stand together. 2019 feels like a long time ago. My 2023 nervous system is not the same. But, even with a bit of overwhelm, I was happy.
Oh - about stickers. You know how we usually only sell stickers a couple of times per year on Sticker Day? I like that format, as it allows us to try out a bunch of designs at once, and pack orders in an organized way. But I also have been wanting to keep at least a few stickers up year round.
Realizing there’s no ‘right’ way to do this, I thought we would try something new. So, yes, the majority of stickers are coming down after today, but I think we’ll keep a few up longterm. We will still have 2 or 3 Sticker Day events each year, which will be brief windows with lots of stickers & new designs in limited supply.
This might be bigger news in my head than yours, as it’s mostly about breaking the arbitrary rules I’d made for myself and have been living in fastidious compliance with. My therapist once referred to herself as an Ex-Rule Follower and I knew immediately that’s want to be when I grow up. So here I am, starting small.
ANYWAY - dear friends I hope you enjoy collecting whatever stickers you’d like from this batch. I want to thank you for all your support - I have so many good days now and I owe it in large, large part to you all who have supported my work in such practical ways. You’re the absolute best.

ps. Today is the last day for stickers, but since I sleep at night, I can’t actually take them down at midnight. They will, in all likelihood, be up until midday tomorrow (Monday) since I have morning meetings. If you’re seeing this late, swing by and see, they might still be up.
