Hi friends, it’s a quick note today:
The spring sticker season is wrapping up — last day is this SUNDAY
We’re taking down the majority of stickers that are up in the shop right now until our next drop, which won’t be for a while. Shop now if you’d like some!
This is our first year of doing a sticker drop in May. We’re trying it out because we heard some people wanted to give stickers as graduation gifts to their friends and students and to mom friends around mother’s day, or to buy batches to give out at weddings and other springs/summer events.
We’re always open to doing things differently and would love to know what times of year you like for us to drop new art and stickers!
Ok, now that I told you that, here’s what my heart is bursting with:
For those of you who have been following along, Elsa’s not been doing very well. We were able to get her into see a vet yesterday and got quite the cocktail of pain meds that will hopefully make her more comfortable and support her as she copes with the big change. Her wheelchair comes Monday. Until then, she has told us she’d like to nap. Miko says she’s not leaving her side.
I’ve been thinking about how so many of us can relate to both Elsa’s need and Miko’s kindness,1
and how the needing parts are also kind, but are too tired, and hurting,
and how we might be able to bring those parts of ourselves together,
and how perhaps the kindness parts might turn toward our needing parts and offer some never-leaving-your-side kind of care.
I hope you’re draped it in.
